Drummohr Holiday Park, Edinburgh
The Drummohr Park itself was originally the walled garden of a monastery - and much of the original tranquil atmosphere has remained intact. Sheltered and wooded on all sides, this secluded park is mainly level and carefully landscaped, including the planting of some 1500 trees and shrubs. It has an extensive view on its northern aspect of the Firth of Forth.
All pitches are generously spaced and are within easy reach of drinking water and waste disposal points. Two separate and fully tiled toilet blocks have been built to an exceptionally high standard. Incorporated in each is a chemical toilet disposal point and a fully equipped laundry room.
At Drummohr we have 5 superior lodges in a combination of 2 or 3 bedrooms, suitable to sleep from 2 - 6 people. We also have 3 bedroom lodges fitted to a higher standard, those are all once again suitable to sleep 2 - 6 people.
Other services at our Holiday Park
Other on-site services include electric hook-up points, hard standings and serviced pitches, pay phone, Camping Gaz, Calor Gas and a well stocked shop. For the disabled, toilet and shower facilities are provided and all doorways have ramped access. Dogs are allowed if kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Your host, William Melville, lives on the site to ensure the closest possible attention to your requirements. To assist in this aim, visitor information, local brochures and leaflets are available at reception.
